We are huge fans of the Brewfather brewing App. We use it to create, share and store all of our recipes. It's great for making sure we are within style. We also use it on multiple devices on brew days to help with tracking and staying on target.

Brian

The Technician

Brian handles most of the fermentation and houses all of the equipment. He doesn't like to drink beer but always has cider on tap.

Weezy

The Alchemist

Weezy writes most of the recipes and knows most of the chemistry. He can't get enough of the Brulosophy podcast.

Chuck

The Wild Card

Chuck does a little technical, a little recipe and a lot of problem solving. A master of the curveball he likes to ask "hey, what if we..."

Blaze

The Mascot

Blaze is the goodest boy and likes to lay around looking handsome, hoping someone will drop something tasty in his vicinity.

2026 Chucktown Brewdown

We had a big brew day on February 27 where we made 2 beers and a cider all at once.

For the Chucktown Brewdown competition we made an American Red IPA we called Ragnar's Step Child. We've made many variations of red ales over the past few years all based on our original Ragnar the Red.

We also made a Philly Sour and a Tropical cider that both received a heavy load of mixed fruit after primary fermentation.
